Sarah Lowdon is currently at the University of Florida pursuing a once in a lifetime opportunity under the mentorship of Becky Burleigh. Lowdon voluntarily gave up a full time NCAA Division I Assistant Coaching position and is now a manager for the Gators. She not only moved away from her family but has given up a salary, retirement and benefits for the chance to learn from one of the best collegiate soccer programs in the nation.
She is originally from Newcastle, England and has been involved in coaching at the NAIA, NCAA Division I and professional levels. This includes stints at the Houston Dash, Sam Houston State University and Wayland Baptist University. The highlight in her short career had to be witnessing the US Women’s National Team win the World Cup and being able to work with three of those players at the Houston Dash during her two and a half year stint with the club. This includes 2x FIFA World Player of the Year – Carli Lloyd. During her time at WBU and SHSU, she was also a lecturer in the Exercise Science and Kinesiology departments.

Lowdon is a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Other licenses include USSF B, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and NSCAA Level 2 GK
