Ricardo Paez brings more than 20 years of playing experience in the professional game. As a player, Ricardo played for the Venezuelan Senior National Team 64 times registering 7 goals, playing in 3 Copa Americas, and 3 CONMEBOL World Cup Qualifying campaigns.  Paez played in 10 different countries for premier teams such as America de Mexico, Alianza Lima (Peru), America de Cali (Colombia), Mineros de Guayana (Venezuela), ACS Poli Timisoara (Romania), and CD Castellon (Spain). During his illustrious playing career, Paez won championships in 3 different countries.

As a head coach, Paez holds a USSF “A” coaching license and has been a coach in two different developmental academies in the State of Florida.  In the professional game, Paez served as the Head Coach of Miami United FC in the NPSL winning the Sunshine Conference in 2016 working with legendary players such as Adriano from Brazil and Rambo de Leon from Honduras who both have represented their senior national teams at the highest level.

Paez will serve in the capacity of a S.I.M.A. staff coach working with our student athletes on a daily basis sharing his knowledge and experience as a player and a coach to help implement our unique model of development.
